Love This Rice Maker - Definitely Recommend - I Love It

I've wanted a rice cooker for absolutely ages — and since I somehow mess up rice every single time, we hardly ever eat it. Especially now that we’re switching from white to wholemeal everything, I thought if I can’t even get white rice right, brown rice would be a total disaster… so yes, a rice cooker it was! 😊

I spent ages comparing different models and finally settled on this one — and I’m so glad I did. It’s an absolute game-changer! Finally, we’re eating properly cooked, fluffy, tasty rice.

I tried basmati first on the white rice setting, and it came out perfectly. Since then I’ve made brown rice several times and it’s been brilliant every time — evenly cooked and easy to fluff up with a fork.

It’s a smart-looking little thing, fairly compact too — I’ve found a spot for it in the cupboard without any trouble. The instructions are simple and clear (not that you need many with a rice cooker!). It comes with a measuring cup, a plastic rice paddle, and the water level markers inside the pot are super clear — takes all the guesswork out.

I will say it does take a little while to heat up and cook, so I’ve got into the habit of starting the rice ahead of everything else. But the non-stick inner pot is fantastic — nothing sticks and it cleans up really easily.

Once the rice is done, it beeps and switches automatically to “keep warm” — which is brilliant. Even if I’m not quite ready to serve up, the rice stays perfectly warm. It’s more than enough for our family of three — I usually make two cups and there’s always leftovers. Definitely suitable for larger portions too.

I’ve never owned or used a rice cooker before, so I’m no expert — but this thing is such a great kitchen gadget to have! It’s really easy to use, super easy to clean, and after having it for a couple of weeks now, I’m totally loving it. I’ve been eating way more rice because I don’t have to rely on those microwave rice packets anymore — how good is that?! Now I have rice with everything 😊

And can we talk about how cute the design is?? There are these little hidden bear details on different parts of the cooker — I think that’s just so cool!

I picked this up when it was on sale, and since it’s my first rice cooker I can’t really compare the “value” to others… but I’m super happy with what I got for what I paid. Totally worth it! 🐻💖
